At HBI, we’re dedicated to helping today’s busy families maximize the enjoyment, comfort, convenience and value of their greatest investment: their home.
Our company designs and installs user-friendly, high-performance systems for home theater, audio/video, computer networks, lighting, temperature, and home/office control. We’re not just retail salespeople; we’re experts at configuring, installing and supporting home theaters, along with audio, network, and control systems for both homes and businesses.
HBI launched its first design center in Grass Valley at the end of 2004--and this fall, we open the doors on a 2,600-square-foot showroom in Rocklin early in 2006. The HBI showroom is designed to be much more than a retail store. Its demo rooms provide a luxurious environment where customers can test-drive today’s premier entertainment and home-control systems--and consult with HBI staffers on customizing the system of their dreams.
Company Principals
Brian Hood and Dwight Branco are the founding partners of HBI, Inc.
Prior to co-founding HBI, Brian Hood was a sales professional for AllData and a financial analyst for Investors Bank & Trust in Sacramento. He began his career as a financial analyst for Sanmina-SCI in San Jose. Hood earned B.S. degrees in finance and economics from Cal Poly San Louis Obispo in 2001, and he holds professional certifications from Control4, Sencore and the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA).
IT veteran and HBI co-founder Dwight Branco served as an IT Supervisor and Senior IT Support Professional at Spectra-Physics Lasers in Mountain View. Branco earned a B.S. in Management of Information Systems from California State University-Chico in 2002, and he holds professional certifications from STI Knowledge, Control4, Sencore and CEDIA.
